Santa’s Paddle Around Marblehead Harbor
Help raise money for the Marblehead Food Pantry. The event is supported by the Santas, photographer Bruce Durkee and the Landing Restaurant, which hosts a post-paddle event for the Santas, family, friends and supporters of the event
My Brother’s Table
My Brother’s Table has been able to provide meals and a wide range of other services to those in need in our community through the support of donors and over 2,500 volunteers each year.
In addition to serving meals 7 days a week MBT provides meals to homebound individuals, participates in a family dinner program, provides meals to at risk-seniors, and hosts a free weekly medical clinic.
Founded in 1982 My Brother’s Table, the largest soup kitchen on the North Shore, has provided 6.7+ million hot, free meals and outreach to men, women and children in need.
Since the second year of operation MBT has been open 365 days a year, through snow and ice storms, power outages and other difficult events. My Brother’s Table has been open over 13,000 consecutive days, offering free meals to everyone who comes to our door, regardless of race, color, creed or sex.

About MSPCA Angell:
Since its founding in 1868, the MSPCA-Angell has worked to relieve suffering, prevent cruelty, and develop a just and compassionate society. Although these goals remain constant, societal change, technological advancement, and growth in human understanding dictate continual re-evaluation and redefinition of their implications for our work. Our Statements of Belief represent an application of the MSPCA-Angell’s Mission Statement to the major animal-related issues and concerns of today.
About Northeast Animal Shelter:
Established in 1976 by Cindi Shapiro and her siblings — Randi Cohen and Don Shapiro — Northeast Animal Shelter is one of New England’s largest animal adoption centers. In 1994, Northeast Animal Shelter implemented a robust animal relocation program — one of the first of its kind — to help reduce the nation’s overpopulation problem at local animal shelters across the country. Since its inception, Northeast Animal Shelter has transported over 125,000 cats and dogs to New England — where the demand for adoptable pets is high — and placed them in homes.
Marblehead Chamber of Commerce
The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement and development of the business community. We are more than 300 members strong and represent more than 80 industries.
Swing Fore Pink Event - Dana Farber
The Swing Fore Pink Golf Tournament, coordinated and played exclusively by women, raises money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The final figures are not in yet for this year but it appears that the Swing Fore Pink event will exceed $120,000 in net donations to Dana Farber. This is a 20% increase over last year’s record total and is the largest donation ever received by Dana Farber from a tournament managed and played exclusively by women.
